| Why Register? |
|
This registration process is for everyone who has been given a Band of Brothers ring. Every ring comes with a card that includes a Dog Tag number. We know who are the givers of the rings, but we do not know who receives the rings unless people register their Dog Tag number and associate that number with a real name. It is a fair question to ask, "Why should I enter my Dog Tag number and provide my name and other registration information?" We are trying to track all the brothers who have been called out to engage in the battle for Christ our King by other men. You are believed in - and the Spirit in you has been seen by another! We want to keep record of the givers and the recipients of the rings.
By tracking this information, over time we hope to build a genealogy, detailing the family trees for every giver of the Ring. This may help demonstrate graphically the power of passing forward to other men the gift of the ring and the challenge to be a disciple of Christ. |

You then would be able to see the brothers you called out, and then the brothers they called out, and so on, and so on.... In other words, you would have access to see your family tree! Genealogy obviously is very important to God's larger story, because it is detailed throughout the Bible (including the genealogy of Christ). This genealogy may not track blood lines, but we hope to track the spiritual brotherhoods! If it is important to you that others not know you have received the gift of the Band of Brothers Ring, then we want to respect your privacy and do not want you to feel the pressure of registering! If that is the case, then all that will ever show in the genealogy tree would be your Dog Tag number and your privacy will be maintained.
