Symbolism in the Poster

There is a veil over this world. "Their hearts are covered with that veil, and they do not understand."  (2 Cor. 3:15)  So most people do not even see that there is a spiritual battle going on for our lives, hearts, and souls.   "But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, then the veil is taken away."  (2 Cor. 3:16)

The three lights at the three points of the cross represent the Trinity - God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

The power to overcome evil in this world has been bestowed to the full body of believers through the death, resurrection, and ascension of Christ.   This is represented by the beam of light from the cross to the circle of men.

Each of us has been given special gifts that we were created to wield for the noble cause of Christ.  But to have complete victory, we must unite and engage together as brothers with Christ our King.  This is represented by the circle of men standing side-by-side.

Overall, the sword-shaped celtic cross is symbolic of a man's decision to follow Christ "no matter the cost."  (see Luke 14: 25-33)

In this ministry of the Band of Brothers, we will strive to live and relate to each other with the Courage of the Father who was willing to sacrifice his Son, the Humility of the Son who was willing to die for us, and the Unity of the Spirit - currently residing in all believers.
