"In all of those stories, they had lots of chances of turning back, only they didn't. They kept going. They were holding on to something... That there's some good in this world, and it's worth fighting for." (Sam, Lord of the Rings)

Men's Ministry: Offering the Brotherhood of Christ...
A grass-roots movement has begun!
"God chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn with many brothers..." (Rom. 8:29).
The purpose of the Band of Brothers Ministry is to offer the brotherhood of Christ to men fighting to move from success to meaning, addictions to freedom, and selfishness to God's call.
Our Covenant with God is (1) to become a disciple and brother of Christ - no matter the cost; and (2) to engage in the battle with other Jonathan/David brotherhoods.
We believe the Kingdom of God is advancing and that our our King is raising an army of "no matter the cost" disciples. Do you hear the call? Do you have the resolve to say "yes" to your King? More on the Brotherhood, Battle, Mission, and Victory.
Our Desire is to be a reflection of our triune God. So we want to live and relate to others with the Courage of the Father who was willing to sacrifice his own Son, the Humility of the Son who was willing to die for us, and the Unity of the Spirit who indwells in all believers and unites us.
Your Heritage: Brother of Christ
"God chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn with many brothers..." (Rom. 8:29). Jesus says, "Anyone who does God's will is my brother." (Mark 3:35) "So now Jesus and the ones he makes holy have the same Father. That is why Jesus is not ashamed to call them his brothers." (Heb. 2:11)

"Life without war is impossible in the natural or the supernatural realm. It is a fact that there is a continuing struggle in the physical, mental, moral, and spiritual areas of life."

BAND OF BROTHERS
RING
|
Band of Brothers' Ring - a gift to your brother in Christ. Like the gift of the ring from the Father to his prodigal son, the Band of Brothers' Ring is a gift to your friend to express your belief in your friend's heritage and glorious purpose - no matter the sins he has committed. It then communicates your willingness to fight for his life and eternal legacy. If your friend then chooses to cross facing out, towards the world, it becomes uniquely symbolic and serves as a monument to remember his own personal covenant with God to follow Christ the King unconditionally - no matter the cost. Sample Covenant of the Band of Brothers: I will surrender my all to God - no matter the cost - so that I can become more like Jesus Christ - my brother and King. I will seek out a band of brothers, for whose lives and legacies I will fight, so that together we can fulfill our mission to know, love and glorify God our Father.

More about the Spiritual Battle ...
Ed “Doc” Pepping was a medic with Easy Company, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division – a World War II unit whose story was told and made famous in the HBO miniseries “Band of Brothers.” Pepping was awarded the Bronze Star for his bravery and valor under fire while attempting to rescue a “brother” on June 7, 1944, one day after D-Day. Pepping recently was honored with a Band of Brothers’ Ministry Ring in recognition of his courage and valor for now engaging in the battle with Christ. He recently shared with this ministry his thoughts about what we are doing:
Quote of Ed Pepping:
“I love what you guys are doing with the Band of Brothers’ Ministry. You are helping to uncover the veil that sometimes blinds men from seeing that there is a great battle raging all around us! This world is facing a tremendous spiritual battle. Unfortunately, many men and their families are being taken out by this war! We all are being attacked today with enemy fire that is just as real as it was on D-Day, June 6, 1944, the day we invaded Normandy. But God is up to something in this generation – for such a time as this! And the enemy does not like it. We are under a massive assault and we need sold-out Christian men who are willing to accept the call of Christ to "come and be my disciples." Lt. Richard Winters was a great leader of our “Easy Company,” but in this war we will follow Jesus Christ - the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. So unlike the odds facing us in WWII, with this spiritual war if we follow our King ultimate victory is certain. Yet the angels in heaven and a great cloud of witnesses are watching with great anticipation to see who will be a part of the victory celebration by being willing to follow Christ – no matter the cost! I can tell you this, the men who fought with Easy Company, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, were willing to lay down their lives for their brothers. And many in our band had to pay the ultimate sacrifice. But I believe all who fought with us were glad they did not miss out on the opportunity to fight for each other and for the freedom of our country. We were honored to serve! My prayer for this Men's Ministry is that men throughout the world will realize that they do not want to miss out on the opportunity to help “set the captives free!” Let all Christian men everywhere unite as we accept the call of Christ, and let’s not miss out on a life and legacy that will echo throughout eternity!”
